Harlan’s music draws from the wellspring of nature and open spaces. He grew up on the prairie and plains of the midwest working in the wheat harvest. In 1966 he journeyed to the Pacific Northwest as a member of a folk music group. He has worked as a disc jockey, and as a recording engineer on various jingles and album projects. Harlan found a new home here, amid the beauty of Mountains and Ocean. He is an avid climber and cross-country hiker. This Natural High is at the heart of his music, writings and visual arts.
